We worked with Emiliano Construction Corp for an extensive renovation of a brownstone. The basement, first floor and part of the second floor were completely gutted, a new concrete slab was put in the basement and reinforced steel joists replaced the old and termite damaged joists. New walls, new floors, all new finishes were put in the basement and first floor, new kitchen, powder rooms (basement and first fl) and a new bathroom was installed on the second floor. New electrical and plumbing throughout and new stucco and paint on back facade. Renovations can be stressful but with planning and a good contractor like Emiliano Construction, things can go better than expected! We renovated our kitchen & bath in our 1BR apartment this spring and lived in the apartment while work was being done. All building rules were followed, workmen came timely every day and worked well, were respectful, and cleaned up at the end of every day. Only minor glitches, none of which, were the fault of Emiliano. Stressful to live through it, for sure! Wishing it would go quicker, you bet!
